About Rob Canfield

An instructor who still does the work

Rob Canfield teaches from experience, not just a syllabus. He's a working real estate broker at the Jersey Shore, a New Jersey-approved instructor, and a USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor — and he brings all of it into the classroom.

The Short Version

Two classrooms, one standard

Rob is the broker/owner of NextHome Shore Success in Sea Girt, New Jersey, serving Ocean and Monmouth County. As a New Jersey-approved real estate instructor teaching through NJREI, he's guided students from their first pre-licensing class through continuing education, professional designations, and broker licensure.

He holds the ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative), SRS (Seller Representative Specialist), and PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor) designations — credentials he not only earned but teaches from.

As a USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor, Rob brings the same teaching discipline to firearms education: NJ CCW classroom and range qualification, safety courses for new shooters, and USCCA classroom training — always safety-first, always thorough.

Whether the subject is agency law or the four rules of firearms safety, Rob's standard is the same: students should leave more capable than they arrived, and confident in exactly what the credential requires of them.

Rob is also a published author of real estate exam study guides and career books for new agents — available on Amazon.

Three things Rob believes about teaching

01

Credentials should mean something

A license is a public trust. Rob teaches to the standard the credential deserves — not to the minimum the requirement allows.

02

Theory without practice is trivia

Every rule gets a real-world example. Every concept gets a "here's where this shows up in an actual transaction" — or on an actual range.

03

Questions are the curriculum

The best classes are the ones where students push back, ask the hard scenario, and leave with answers they'll actually use.
